Something should be done about the numbers of newbies resurrecting threads that are sometimes as much as a year old. This is not so important in discussions (although sometimes the news is old hat), but in sales threads, this causes frustration, since some of these domains have long since changed hands, are no longer on the market, or have undergone price changes.
Also note my comments on narrowing "similar threads" function to a more recent period of time, especially for sales threads.
