Hotel Deals Finder
- The site is powered by HotelsCombined.com affiliate network.
- design template was bought from ThemeForest and then customized.

Customization is limited to Header and Footer so I had to use javascript to place the full page image background and the css code had to be on page (You can check the source to see what I am talking about). Let me know what you think about the overall website.

Advance thanks for your feedback.

i think there is something wrong with the site - when i go on it there seems to be a lot of space. 2/3 of the screen is blank white and the search box is cut off at the bottum.

Seems to load just fine on my PC.

I absolutely love that affiliate program. It has re-inspired me to pursue the travel niche.

My only word of advice would be to get a new domain name for the site. Torontohotel.net doesn't do much for me, as I can search anywhere on the site. If I was googling around for Toronto Hotels, wouldn't I want to find results in Toronto only?

I actually had a better design and took it down. I am in the process of acquiring another domain so until then i am just playing around with the design on this domain.

Right now i am forwarding my Godaddy domains to this site. If I had travel traffic then I would earn more. 1 lead pays about 0.97c.

thanks i might check them out - it may be better than just parking the name.

Do they provide a site template or do you need to have it built

They give you a simple search temple just like the one I use and you can customize it. It's your own private label. You can customize the colors, header and footer. One thing I don't like is that you can't edit body tags and head tags.

Maybe a developer on DNF can give us a quote on cost

If you want to spend extra and get custom coded website then that's possible as well. They have XML/csv data. They also got an API.

That's probably just the Adsense share you get, not an actual lead. I too used to run tests with Hotelscombined. I can tell you that both IAN and Booking.com pays much more. In some cases the lead is 100 Euros, depending on which hotel and for how many days they booked. An average commission is around 10 Euros.

IAN - is the account approval instant or it's manually done by them?

Check you link in first post.

Reading TorontoHotel.net in browser.

This is what the page looks like in FireFox, Safari, Google Chrome, and Opera (i think I used Explorer last century).

Thanks for the feedback.
That's how the design looks like. I took down the other design because of issues in IE. I am playing around with the design from Booking.com. Gonna switch to that pretty soon.

I use booking.com for around 300 websites. Their commission is very nice but obviously you only get paid on bookings as opposed to leads. Both systems can work out nicely if properly optimised. I set up hotelbooking.cm a few months ago and now it's receiving around 300-400 visits a day from search engine traffic. I think full booking commission is the best way to go but requires a little more effort in set up.
