We are now brokering the following
Any sale needs to be via escrow.com with the buyer paying all fees
RI.SK AND BIERKELLER.COM NOW REMOVED FROM SALE
Post or PM me to buy or make an offer
or email me via andy(@)upmarketdns.com
ó.com $30,000
This is one of the seven single-letter Spanish .com domain names
in existence. It is worth noting that ó is a letter in 17 languages
and ó.com offers a compelling opportunity for a company to brand
themselves upon a single letter web identity that actually means
something.
The reason why this is so is because in many languages ó is not
just a letter, but an exclamation; not unlike an exclamation mark
or statement of exclaim or interest.
This provides many versatile opportunities for a web enterprise,
and of course ó is instantly typeable in Latin American countries,
Eastern Europe, Spain and Ireland.
(it should be understood, however, that ó.com is not intended
for an untargeted North American audience, as to promote such
an identity in that way would only create confusion. In addition,
the ó letter is not present on North American keyboards.).
ú.com $22,500
This is another single-letter Spanish .com domain name. ó.com
and ú.com combined equate to approx. 28% of the single-letter
Spanish .com's that exist.
¢.com $12,500
This domain incorporates the US cent symbol. It's a real domain
name that receives daily "type in" traffic. None of that traffic,
however, is from the USA and so this unusual web name must
be considered on the same basis as an "untypeable" domain.
The seller has recently, however, created a way that he believes will
bypass the need for the site viewer to type the symbol in to
their web browser. This would happen by inviting the viewer
to take part in a fun "find the cent on the page" type challenge.
This would enable the viewer to see ¢.com resolve, qualify
them (perhaps to a finance-related offer) and eliminate the
obvious negative aspects of not being able to type in a name
in the normal way.
I will give further details on this if requested, and I appreciate
that such a scheme may not appeal to many companies that
operate in the US Financial Svcs market.
www.tl $15,000
This is one of a handful of 'www' names in private ownership.
Each name represents a country (in this case Timor Leste) and
the synergy between 'www' and the TLD presents a marketing
opportunity that can not be ignored.
I understand that www.bo sold last year for around $10K and
I believe this domain offers a better marketing opportunity, as
'TL' is a much more desirable acronym than 'BO'.
This domain receives around 150 "type in" hits p/day, and has
never been promoted.
