I think this domain is only good for a regional directory of restaurants (plural). I can't brand my restaurant on a domain like that.
For example SanAntonioPlumber would be different, if I am a plumber I can certainly use the generic domain to advertise my services. Even if you run several restaurants in the area, the domain is still much too broad and vague.
I'm not sure somebody is going to pay a lot for a .net, to start a directory, and there may be alternative domains available that would do the trick just fine. Even inferior domains, after all a directory is about SEO and doesn't require a stellar domain.
Good luck ;)

If this was the singular form any savvy restaurant owner in SA would love to own SanAntonioRestaurant, you don't have the .com but the .net is the next best thing, ie there are tons of great restaurants there, some of the best Mexican food in the US in fact, it's such a big city so anyone should like to have this domain in singular form (end user) and advertise his own restaurant as the one to go in SA, on top of the actual restaurant name domain. With that you could do cold-calling and offer it to a bunch of restaurant owners

But as she said, the plural does not work for that, it's basically just for regional search and general SEO potential is uncertain. If you don't see much promise in that then just send it to auction w/a min bid you're comfortable with. I have, with names that had limited potential, I even got a few surprises

By auction, do you mean a dnforum auction or an outside auction platform such as godaddy? Also, what minimum bid do you usually start with at an auction?

Thank you very much!

Everyone insists in a restaurant directory or the unlikely usage as main page fpr a single restaurant. I see a restaurant RATING site with geo/gps capabilities. I see restaurant owners asking *better if begging* to be rated and commented there. That would be the biz.

varlin, your idea is great (restaurant ratings), so good luck to the OP finding an entity which does that and selling to them, but remember it's a .net so there's a SanAntonioRestaurants.com out there .... Or dlevi could consider starting such service, a bit of a tall order if you're not familiar with what that developing, maintaining it current, etc entails lol. I made the mistake of spending the whole 1st paragraph of my 1st post talking about what good possibilities dlevi would have if he owned this name in the singular (again, he would still own the .net version but it'd still be good) But he doesn't own that, he owns the plural, thus he's more limited

I don't thin katherine's suggestion of a directory for restaurants is far off, there are possibilities there too..... and why would it be an unlikely usage to have SanAntonioRestaurant.net be a secondary page/site for a restaurant in the example I gave lol ?... Keep in mind I was saying it was a great option only IF HE OWNED THE SINGULAR, ie if I were the owner of TheAlamoRestautant.com in SA and someone offered me SanAntonioRestaurant.com (or .net) I'd go for it for sure, I'd have a full site hopefully named TheAlamoRestaurant.com (the main site) and I WOULD want SanAntonioRestaurant.com (or .net) too, letting people know subtly my restaurant was the best and the go-to place in SA. Both could be complementary sites, they would not need to lead to the same page/site, the 2nd one (SanAntonioRestaurant.net) could be for feedback from customers, etc. That's what I was thinking of if he owned the domain in singular, maybe I didn't explain myself well....
