I didn't realize Sedo's (new) owner was such a prominent company.

Pred, as always thinking about the most important points first!

LOL.
I know Billbo. In fact it might be cheaper for me to take $200k p/a & have unlimited hot & spicy pizzas from dominos for the year! ;)
I think actually there is a few people on here who would do a stirling job in the role. Myself not included.
I actually think they could do worse than headhunt a little on this forum . After all , who knows more than some of the guys on this forum about domains?
Pred ;)

I was under the impression that they already had offices in the UK.

I meet all the qualifications but saw nothing posted regarding covering bar tabs...I'm out!

I remember a bust up (if you can call it that) I had with my broker at Sedo.

The Sedo site was experiencing problems and not resolving (I know that doesn't surprise anyone), I had been working all night and when I realized I emailed my broker so that he would know straight away. Then it occured to me that perhaps their whole network was down, so at 7 a.m. my time I telephoned to ask if they wanted me to put a post on this forum that Sedo was aware of the problem and were working on it. All my broker said is 'Why would you do that?' but the tone was not a friendly tone at all. My answer was short and truthful 'because it is the decent thing to do!' I then hung the phone up, disgusted that anybody would question my motives.

It's a pity but then again if you work in such an environment as seems to exist at Sedo I guess 'doing the decent thing' doesn't surface that often!

Good luck to whoever gets the position by the way, I am sure you will either really earn your money or take on the 'real' corporate ethos.........

LOL
It has to include pizza & chicks or that's it!
They have call centre/ support etc in US & Germany. I'm almost certain nothing here. The Brits working in Germany at sedo would no doubt love to come back.
Actually, cancel that. (Pred has a good look around) There is zero reason for returning to UK.
