I'm a little confused so here's some quick questions (assume domain is parked):

If a domain receives a $60 offer and the buyer accepts the deal, the commission is $6, right?

But if the seller decides to kick it to auction and the auction ends at $60, then the commission is $50?

Sedo said:
1 No minimum fee if the domain is verifiably parked with Sedo and sells for a fixed price; only the flat 10% rate applies.

A slight variation , if the domain is set at "Make Offer" and you accept a $60 offer/Send it to auction , the fees will be min. $50 .

But if it's listed for a fixed price at $60 (for 32 days) and someone uses the BuyNow ( fixed price ) option , then the comission is 10% ( $6 in example)

---------

Earlier it used to be better - any domain parked for 32 days >> flat 10% commission .

What if you set the fixed price to $60, get an offer and decide to send it to auction?

Would that be a 10% or $50 commission?

Ah, that would be a question for Lisa(SedoCoUk) , but as far as i am aware if you set it at fixed price , you are obliged to sell at that price ( not really sure) - a similar thread some time back exists for this question on DNF .Just check it up.

Hello amplify,

Let me offer some clarification. If you list a domain for sale through the marketplace with a "fixed price" you will not be given the option to negotiate or push to auction. A fixed price is a buy now price and if the buyer accepts you would receive notification that an agreement has been reached.

As Doc explained we do have a promotion in place where if the domain is parked with Sedo and sells for a fixed price only the 10% commission would apply. You can find more information on this via the link below:

@Doc - thanks for jumping in on this thread and helping out!

Thanks!
