For the first time I decided to put all my domains into Sedo.com, but I have never used this place seriously before.

What about domain selling speeds there?

If You are using it, about how much are You waiting?

Of course, I know it depends on the domain, but ~average~.

There is no average. Speed varies.

There are alot of factors that will weigh in on the completion time. How quickly all parties react is the biggest factor. How quickly does the buyer pay/process payments/you push etcc...

Like anything else it depends on the name. They may sell slightly faster, it is exposure. I personally find it useless though because you have to post a counter bid before canceling negotiations. I get what I feel are very low ball offers and I cannot just cancel. Worthless.

I've always praised Sedo when they're speedy. Lately, it seems that it's necessary to submit reminder messages via the transaction panel; this way the transaction manager receives an email alerting them to the update. In other words, you'd be leapfrogging the other emails in their inbox :D

It depends a lot on the buyer too, but sometimes things are slower than they should be.

Hi

you question is kind of ambiguous, as some answers are referencing "speed" in "how fast the transaction takes place" after an agreement is reached.

the other aspect, which i thought you meant was, "how soon should one expect an offer" after listing their domains on sedo.

maybe you meant both :)

if so, i would say it depends on the domain, in how fast you get an offer.

and it depends on the domain, it's extension on occassions, the account manager, how fast the buyer sends payment, the registrar, whether the buyer wants the domain transferred or pushed, how timely you /the buyer check the status of the transaction, etc.

imo...
