Although I doubt it will hold, my Sedo earnings per click are through the roof this week. I'm still trying to figure out how ad market fluctuations for tennis rackets and frozen yogurt, can both follow the exact same trend. Anyone from Sedo care to throw me a bone?

Sheesh, this is worse then AdSense.

It's all part of the "yoyo revenue" model Sedo employs since August. If you spread out your earnings over a period of a few weeks, you will see that what you rave over today you'll be cussing over tomorrow.

I love the PPC industry, it's like having a boss that gets to decide how much he pays you at the end of the work week.

This industry either needs more transparency, or there needs to be controls that allow publishers to set a minimum ad rate. I'm not interested in pedaling .02 per click ad units, that's a waste of my time.

It's not even a fixed percentage; it appears to be an intelligent algorithm that determines how much they keep. I would not be surprised if a portion of the industry has ties to the mob or money laundering cartels. Indeed, there needs to be federal regulation imposed. But as usual, the politicians are busy dragging the country to wars far away.

Ditto. Sedo. Ditto. YoYo. Ditto.

Excellent analogy...

Do you know if Sedo is just being fed ads from Google? I know they have adult ads, so I'm assuming they have other partners as well?

I would love to know how their payout structure works? Is it a chalk board on the wall, or perhaps it's something more complex like, payment percentages alternated by days of the week?

It is a Google feed. And only a google feed if I am not mistaken.

Payout structure works like darts...where the dart lands, that's the current rate. Of course, that's when anyone is actually in the office to throw the darts.

Current dart rates for the key word DOMAIN NAMES:

$1.04 down to 3 cents. Same keyword, same landing page, same content.

I would also like to report that after 34 days since I made payment, UPZ.net has finally been transferred to me. You can not convince me that they do not have an account set up that pays net 30 days. I have been on the receiving end (39 days waiting on payment) and the giving end (34 days for someone else's pain).

I just hope Erich Mueller is not the one throwing the darts or else they are ending up in the next room or somewhere out on the street in Cambridge Mass.

What it really looks like, is that they dole out a fair revenue share on average 4 days a month. Looking back in my stats, there is that odd 3 - 5 day revenue spike every month, once a month, like clock work. I can trace this phenomenon back 9 months. No joke, no exaggeration.

It's an ancient ritual.

It's a sub-process of the YoYo Revenue (tm) model, code-named "FTF" (feed the fish). The account specialist, religiously once a month checks a box in the user's account that allows for the real revenue share as recorded by Google to trickle through for a full 3 hours. Then that option is locked out again until it's time for another FTF session. Special bonus is calculated as a prime percentage of the number of times the YoYo Revenue Specialist has gotten laid the weekend before the last moon on the ides of March (rounded down of course).

That would certainly explain why they don't have time to answer emails.

Well, my earnings are up for many and most have been consistent for the past couple of months.

SedoPro partner program is kicking butt this month!

Closed on a sale today at sedo, and have a couple of other offers in negotiations!

I ain't gonna complain! :)

Actually, this is my worst two weeks in earning. I am down at least 40%... what gives?
This is also my worst to date monthly earnings since they implemented SedoPro. Overall the click rate is about the same if not up but revenue down by about 25%-30%.
