Here's what *not* to do:

Put it on eBay, then before the auction ends put it on Sedo. While someone has the high bid on Sedo, put it on Afternic and keep a low reserve. Once it's met, list it on a 10 minute sale on NamePros, DomainState and DNForum. When someone posts "SOLD" tell them it's no longer available because you had a PM already. Two weeks later make a follow-up post blasting all venues above and re-list it because the "buyer" didn't pay. :D When confronted about the lack of ethics, make a lengthy statement that the domain belonged to your cousin, a single mother with no kids.

Always enjoy seeing and reading thoughts on the best place of selling domain names.

AfternicDLS is the world's largest domain marketplace. According to Domain Name Journal, AfternicDLS has a 47% market share based on domains sold during the first half of 2007. When using AfternicDLS's expanded promotion, our customers are able to have their names listed on an expanded network beyond the Afternic site through our world-class partners. Additionally, we have 17 sales executives that promote our customers names, helping connect your names with as many potential customers as possible.

The next question after volume would be surrounding ASP (average sales price). During August's Domain RoundTable, we and Sedo shared some interesting data points with the attendees. We shared with the folks that the ASP for AfternicDLS is $1764 with a median ASP of $1300. Sedo stated that their ASP was $600. We believe that via our sales team and expanded network, we're able to provide our customers domains with the opportunity to get the highest price point.

Obviously, each customers case is individual and unique. But, the aggregate data provides things to consider when working with us, someone else, or going solo.

In order to make it easier for everyone, let me provide you with some information to contact us if anyone has any questions. I think you'll find the team here to be very experienced and committed to assist our customers.

All the best and good luck!

I've had more luck on Sedo, but you should list them on both, and a number of other places.

TDNAM, Fabulous, advertise in the domain distribution network (like at godaddy), offer them in the forums, or just put up a sales page of your own. Some other parking companies (not sure which ones) have sales links on the parking pages, which offers some exposure too.
