Is there a reason why some of my domains get a really nice parking template while the majority get the standard, plain, ugly ones?

Thanks in advanced,

some of the "standard, plain, ugly ones" have good conversion rates.

on ds, that's what i use by default...the standard plain ugly one ;)

the key is having "relevant" links to the subjects that the visitor may be searching for

pretty pics are nice, but after the pics...what else do you have?

though i do like the "simple" template at sedo.

imo...

Well, the pages are not so much pics, but they just look like a site layout rather than a 'parked' page. I have noticed more queries / clicks with these templates. I just wanted to know if there was a specific reason for it (ie. keywords, etc.) as I would like to have them on other domains.

Thanks for the response,
-Mike C.
