Hello Everyone,

Sedo is currently conducting an investigation into Sedo parking fakers. This is an internal check. In terms of statistics, we are putting through views and withholding clicks so that we may review them thoroughly. We will update the click statistics sometime this afternoon (GMT; morning EST), at the conclusion of the investigation. Views have not been affected. Revenue of parking customers with valid traffic will not be affected. We ask for your understanding during this check as we work to make our parking program better for our many loyal and legitimate parking customers.

Kind Regards,

Your Sedo Team

Your domain seem to redirect first at zedo.com(seems to have a connection with enom) and then are redirected to sedoparking.com.
Before they redirect to sedo a popup opens.

Isn't pop-ups against Sedo's rules?

I can see the url in the status bar at the bottom of internet explorer.

When I look at the Source of your webpage I can see it has frames.

Seem the pop up not from sedo, u can test directly to http://www.sedo.co.uk/parking/hairy.com . Try to change your ns to ns1.sedoparking.com & ns2.sedoparking.com .

some of our `enommed' DoMains r `popped' by sedo in being forwarded2sedo

This is part of the code on the landing page for hairy.com. Whether the redirection service is a third party one or an in house one, it is the redirection service that is creating the pop up:

<!-- Redirection Services Redirector4A-CHG H1 -->
<frameset rows='100%, *' frameborder=no framespacing=0 border=0>
<frame src="http://www.sedo.co.uk/parking/hairy.com" name=mainwindow frameborder=no framespacing=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0></frame>
<frame src="/?a8734haka8dr781346=true" NAME=a33 frameborder=no framespacing=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0></frame>
</frameset>
<noframes>

The "offending" bit of code, or URL is the following:

http://www.hairy.com/?a8734haka8dr781346=true

Click on this link and you'll get something like an "empty" frame and the pop up, but of course no sedo landing page.

I didn't know Martian was widely used ...

Running dig on hairy.com I get 63.251.83.56 which is an Enom IP. Check that domain's DNS settings. It's not the fault of Sedo.

This is really getting a bit off track from the reason for the post: ie Sedo's fraud investigations (maybe this ought to be put in a separate post) but...

If we could see a screen shot of the redirection settings that 2j.com is using, that might shed some further light on the popups.

He is apparently not redirecting directly to sedo, but to some other hosting/URL. That hosting/URL seems to be putting the sedo landing page in one frame and sending up the popup as well.

If you don't want to let us see a screen shot of the current redirection settings, you could still tell us the URL you are redirecting to.

Just my thoughts.

ps I see enom have straight redirection and framing.

Which of those are you using? I reckon that straight redirection should cause the least problems. If you are using framing, which it looks like you are, I think that is where the gremlins are at work.

Also, as suggested above, if you just change your nameservers to ns1.sedoparking.com & ns2.sedoparking.com you should avoid any problems.
