Hi
I had a .info domain on auction on sedo, it was sold for $$$$
Now i get this email from sedo
But there is no kind of lock on this name at all, i can easily move it to anywhere i want, i bought this domain months ago myself and it was transfered to me fine, i dont understand where they would get the registry lock from!!!
They simply cancelled a sold domain 2 days After the auction! :undecided:
How pathetic...
EDIT
I just contacted afilias, enom and a friend who works in demys, they all confirmed the domain is ok for be transfered and it doesn't appear to have any legal problems, where does that sedo statement come from??? does anyone know?
Should i take legal action?? Its a shame because there was 4 good bidders on the name. I would think the bidders would be legally responsible to honour their bids.
EDIT
Just called sedo, they said they passed it onto their legal department to look at, i dont see why really tbh, i already know they will just confirm what i just said, the domain is fine! but i guess i just have to wait for a few days for them to get back to me to tell me that! You would think they would have had their legal department look at it before they passed on wrong info to me and cancelled a finished auction!!! but no...
Chasing this wasted nearly 2 hours of my time this morning, arghhh

We regret to inform you that we shall have to cancel this transaction.
Reason for this cancellation:
Domain is under registry lock due to sunrise. Its currently being looked into by the legal counsel and may be equitably redistributed sometime in the future.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
Iris Siedlatzek
