The name cost me $1 so I'm not taking a huge loss here, figured I could flip it
This is where I disagree. It cost you $1 to register or buy, then you had to park it or at least set the nameservers and put it on some sort of list that you probably keep. Then you go to the appraisal section and now you are digging yourself a hole. Time is money, and every minute you spend on nonsensical names like this is a minute wasted.
You would probably be better off spending that time and effort on a few of your best names. Google a few potential leads......maybe try a new search engine and look for leads there. On your best names, if you hit the jackpot it can be thousands of dollars. Names like this take up too much of your time, and the payoff is so small even if you get lucky.
We all try to flip or unload our worst names, but there is a way to do that, as well. When you spend on stuff that doesn't have any magic to it at all, that just means that you can never get a magical result. If you pick up plastic bottles out of the trash, there is a limit to how much success you can have. You might get 5 or 10 cents per bottle when you turn them in, but the ceiling is pretty low when it comes to how much you can improve your life. If you spent that same amount of effort hitting up estate sales, yard sales, and other places where lightning can strike, then in the long run you are better off, and you also get the excitement of the feeling that magic could be right around the corner.
Spend your time on essentially valueless stuff and you will get a poor result.
