Fails the so-called 'radio test' but it's not bad if you choose to ignore this fundamental at your own risk. SellCellphones.com appears to be taken.

It is worth zero in all universes currently known to man. How could it be worth anything? If this name is worth ten cents then I guess there is no such thing as a worthless name. If your goal is to confuse everyone, then by all means, develop a site on it and flush some man hours down the drain. Keep spending time on names like this and I promise that you will be unhappy when you look back on your life in 30-40 years.

With a join date of 2005, it seems incomprehensible to me that you can be asking about this name. I mean, I know that most people who golf get worse as time goes on, but with domaining, you would think that most would just have to get better the more they did it. I really don't know what to say, other than that.

The name cost me $1 so I'm not taking a huge loss here, figured I could flip it

This is where I disagree. It cost you $1 to register or buy, then you had to park it or at least set the nameservers and put it on some sort of list that you probably keep. Then you go to the appraisal section and now you are digging yourself a hole. Time is money, and every minute you spend on nonsensical names like this is a minute wasted.

You would probably be better off spending that time and effort on a few of your best names. Google a few potential leads......maybe try a new search engine and look for leads there. On your best names, if you hit the jackpot it can be thousands of dollars. Names like this take up too much of your time, and the payoff is so small even if you get lucky.

We all try to flip or unload our worst names, but there is a way to do that, as well. When you spend on stuff that doesn't have any magic to it at all, that just means that you can never get a magical result. If you pick up plastic bottles out of the trash, there is a limit to how much success you can have. You might get 5 or 10 cents per bottle when you turn them in, but the ceiling is pretty low when it comes to how much you can improve your life. If you spent that same amount of effort hitting up estate sales, yard sales, and other places where lightning can strike, then in the long run you are better off, and you also get the excitement of the feeling that magic could be right around the corner.

Spend your time on essentially valueless stuff and you will get a poor result.

I really don't think this is a "terrible" name. Yes, it fails the radio test, but who really listens to the radio anymore anyway? I think it's short, brandable and overall it looks cool.

I see it as a fine name for a cell phone affiliate program. Perhaps marketing it to a few could reveal a buyer in the xxx range. Another possibility, but more of a long shot, is a company looking to collect stem cells (or other "cells").

I just think I've seen a lot worse names sell in the 5 figure range. When it comes down to it, with lower-tier names, I think it has more to do with how you market it than even the name itself.

As I said, it's ok if one chooses to ignore the infamous 'radio test'. Personally, I listen to music-only radio :D
