I can second this. He can't make up his mind on set prices when you PM him.

It's a $30 domain(s). Even someone with head in toilet has better things to do than scheme for an extra $10. It could be just a communication problem where someone sent PM without posting what domains he intended to buy (posted SOLD). Buys on other forums also happen, but he should have posted multiforum offer if it was. Unless the guy asked you for more, like $40 a domain I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

He seemed to have explained clearly what happend

"Hi!

About PMIU I have to sale to MyKeul bc he PM me before Toilet-Monster posted sold.

About PGOW & MGOW I sent Toilet-Monster message told him to let me know ASAP that he still want them, I didn't get his reply and in the last PM he was complaining about these dn are expiring so I thought he passed, he was not interested any more.

The price of my domain are so low because I need to sell them as quick as possible and he should not wait for the next day to reply.

I hope you understand in this matter.

Regards,"

It's a bullshit reply when the real reason was he was in a hurry to get the money. When someone is 6 hours ahead (or 6 hours behind) due to time zones, then days do roll into one another.

If the domains were about to expire, and he was in a rush to sell, it could have been better stated, but it still seems like a communications misunderstaing to me.

It's not like he posted a valuable domain name sale for sale at a fixed price, "sold" it, then changed his mind when someone else offered a few hundred or a few thousand dollars more.

Why are you or I wasting time on a $30 domian. I should be spending my time figuring out how to sell my S....d . com or something more valuable. Our heads must be in the toilet today (a comment on someone's icon)
Since when does the price of a name determine the importance of the completing a sale or responding to a person's posting of SOLD? $30, $300, $3000, $30,000? Hard to figure out how you can determine the importance of completing a deal based on the dollar value. Integrity and principle does not have a minimal value set.

What someone values at $30 is perhaps worth more (or less) to someone else, just like someone's evaluation of over $19,750.00 for a lesser dictionary domain name.

The title of the thread is: seller here not honouring deals.

And this is also a very cheap and low effort on your part to post your own name for sale in someone else's thread.

But you are saying that the seller intentionally screwed someone over a $30 name and put some effort into it. IMHO it would be more likely that someone screw someone over for a larger amount of money. Of course it's unethical to screw someone over for ANY amount of money.

I would be more tempted to screw someone out of a sale if I could make an extra $1,000 (not that I would do it) or back out of a deal over the details than for $10.

I would guess it's largely a communication misunderstanding. And if it's a very good deal, don't haggle over the details, which could give the other guy an opportunity to change his mind - it would be like losing a deal for a dictionary word because you asked for more time to pay, or wanted the seller to extend the registration.

And for someone with very high ethics who calls politicians liars, sitting high and mighty on a porta-potty (why do two people in this thread have some toilet fetish)

The statement: "The title of the thread is: seller here not honouring deals."

is only HALF TRUE and misleading. The seller did honor his deal to the person who PMed him.

Obviously the seller cannot honor the sale of one domain name to two people.

You can argue that the seller made a bad decision after a messed up sale to sell to the wrong person, but you can't expect him to sell, honor his deal, to sell one domain name to two people.

If you could claim (not speculate) either 1) he asked for more money or 2) sold to nobody, than he would be not honouring his deals.

I find it remarkable that you want to talk about points of principle and honor and integrity while posting the sale of your own domain name in the same thread about someone being potentially dishonest.

You really bring a lot of value to the thread.

someone being potentially dishonest.

.

You said it yourself. POTENTIALLY dishonest. All you have is suspicions and guesses, and insults.

I think the title of the thread would be more accurate and honest if it were "POTENTIALLY not honoring sales"

Doc Com : I just realized you had nearly 17,000 posts in 5 years.

In addition to wasting time complaining about $30 sales gone bad (weren’t you the first person even before the buyer to complain about it on the other thread),

at about 3,400 post per year on this forum alone, I would suggest that you are spending way too much of you life online. If you are also posting on political sites, it’s even worse.

Unless you are a retired invalid who can’t do anything else with your time, I would suggest other offline activities. Anything done to excess is not healthy. And when you make that many posts, your post quality is bound to suffer.

I really don't want to waste more time on this deal, but just thought I'd warn you guys that this guy is just looking to sell his stuff ASAP and doesn't care that someone claimed the sale before someone else.

I posted SOLD in the thread which means I'm taking these domains at the terms in the thread.
The seller replied to me in PM with the transaction details. As it took me too long for him to wait, he just took the next offer so he got his cash quicker.

That's not potentially not honouring deals, its just not honouring deals... Maybe the new buyer offered him more, maybe he just offered the same amount but instant.. Just be careful making 'deals' with him..
