I'm trying to buy a name from someone in the UK. He says he's verified. When I test sending or requesting money with his domain admin email, his name appears in the system, but no status at all. When I test using a different personal account that I know is not verified, it at least shows a status. The help section says the status should be appearing. What gives? How can I be sure he's verified then?

Grab a Hindi to English dictionary, and call their customer service department. :D

When he sends you the money, the EMAIL that you get will state if he's verified or not. Change your settings first to allow acceptance/denial of foreign payments.

He's turning into a dud now, but I did call PayPal after Seraphim made me realize that was even an option. I'm the buyer, btw. While the PayPal rep did have an accent, his English was very clear. :) Anyway, turns out he is verified, so I asked why his status wasn't showing up at all, and the rep only said it's because he has the ability to hide his status in Ebay. Didn't want to pursue it any further, but if I can still get the name I will. Just waiting to hear back on something...
