Seller wants me to use Escrow.com

Just finalized a deal of worth ~$6000, a single word good domain, with a seller and he wants me to use escrow.com. I never used my card for such big payment. As far as I know escrow has a limitation of 5000 USD CC payment. I just wanted to know that whether they allow splitting payment or not. I love to use my card and want to avoid wire.

...you could always email escrow.com and ask them, though I doubt it...cc fees are too high for transactions over 5k

ya almost double; but the transaction fee will be shared by both parties.

You can send a wire payment to Escrow.

Don't think it would be an issue at all.

Why do you want to avoid wire? I always use wire for $5k+ transactions. It usually takes 24 hours from I send the wire until Escrow.com has processed it.

yea wire is better by all means, only downside is you usually have to go to the bank to do it.. CC's aren't meant to be used for large payments. Also their CC verification process can be rather long

Really? That's .. well, old fashioned I'd say. With all banks in Norway you can do international (and national) wires from the online banking interface.

Escrow.com just replied. I have no choice except wire. So, I will wire . The only reason why I wanted to use my CC was that the deal is slightly higher than 5k.
