Shareholders of DOMAIN WORLD (11 in total) have decided that the the Domain World website and all domains listed are to be sold as a going concern so that the business can focus on other oportunities.

Consequently I am seeking genuine appraisals before going to market to give an indication of what we should ask in terms of a purchase price.

Please note, the intention is to sell ALL domains (with exceptions noted below) AND the website in one lot.

Domain names found on the 2 pages titles "Featured Domains" and "POA" that are hilighted in orange are NOT INCLUDED. These names are not owned by domain world and should not be included in any appraisal.

Information to help appraise:

Best way to see all of the names is to look at the A-Z page which is the total list.

You do not need to be a New Zealand citzen or own a New Zealand business to own a .nz domain. Anybody from anywhere can register a .nz domain.

Registration and renewal fees for a .nz domain are approx US$17 per domain per year depending on chosen registrar.

Renewals are due for all of these names from May 2003 to Jan 2004 spread fairly evenly over that time.

To transfer these names is simple and there is no transfer fee involved.

If you are willing to provide an appraisal please do so in US$ for no other reason than to keep appraisals consistent.

Please feel free to ask questions.

PM me if necessary.

Thanks
Dan

People here can appraise domain names but most know nothing about appraising a profit making enterprise. You need a financial consultant for that.

Looks like you have a lock on but .nz names have very little value outside of New Zealand.

It would be like somebody registering UnitedStatesNZ.com . They would have a similar value to that.

BF thanks for your comments.

However, we are not actually selling the business. As stated above we are selling the website and the domain names listed on it.

I know it's a bit harder than appraising a handful of names as there are over 500 here but that's all I am asking for is an appraisal of the names as a LOT sale irrespective of what the business has done.

thanks
Dan

I will say 10% * total price listed for the domains.

If you gave him 10% of the listed prices, he'd be laughing allthe way to the bank.

I notice that all the names with questionable TM status have been removed, but also all the decent names have disappeared as well. There's a couple of half-decent names there, but the rest aren't worth registration fee.

I suspect you're just trying to get rid of the trash, and keep the good stuff.

Right you are drew, we have removed the questionalble TM names and we are negotiating a deal for a group of other names that were once listed on the site (glad to see you have been keeping an eye on our site :D )

As for "trash":
"one mans trash is.............."

Thanks for your comments.

Where's the link to your site? Domain World says... is not hosted here.
