Greetings,

I recently purchased the domain "higu.com".
At first this might not seem like it would be worth anything, but apparently Higu is short for Higuchi in Japanese.
Thus, it appears that there would be a demand for it.
For instance, the following names are taken:
higu.net
higu.org
higu.jp
higuchi-inc.com
and at least 64 domains have "higuchi" in them. (this fact was found on netcraft.com)

The site www.higu.net, for instance, is very developed: it is the Higuchi Electric Corporation. They seem to have a need for higu.com.

At any rate, I am willing to proactively try and sell this name...

What do you think would be a fair asking price??

Thanks,
David Morel

higuchi is a surname.
I also think that it is worth more than 16 cents (16 cents = 20 yen).

ask the owners of the .net to see if they want it. But if its a corporation, they probably have a trademark on the name, so be careful.

The domain is worth as much as one is willing to pay for it :)

So we might suggest the owner of this board to replace the whole appraisal forum with a single page where the above quote would stand alone in giant chars.

It would be an enormous saving in bandwidth.

Get a professional appraisal from a firm such as Echo Arts and email the corporate HQ with a link to the appraisal, or attach it to the email. The corporate guys tend to be more interested when they can look at a professional app.
