Hi there DNF'ers ...
I have a single word / keyword Adult Domain Name that I currently have parked
with ParkingCrew for the past 7 days and I have noticed that the CTR is 70%

For example, if I am getting 10 unique visitors a day, I am receiving 7 clicks a day.

How do I go about monetizing this domain name so I maximize my profits?

The domain name alone has had offers for $x,xxx although it was hand-regged
less than 2 months ago (prior parking, as a stand-alone domain) however,
earning $0.01 per click would take xx,xxx clicks to match the offers I have received
and that could take many, many years.

My ultimate question is... how could I start earning a lot more than $0.01 per click?

All feedback is appreciated in advance.

Thank you!

I'd sell it if that offer is still alive. Can't go wrong with that flip and then you can try it again. CPC for the adult world is not very good. You could develop the name if you think you could get it ranked. Then you can use affiliate marketing and make some money. I've got one adult name that gets 100-300 visitors per day that made me a little over $650 last year developed, although the checks are all ~$50-70 and trickle in over the year. All gravy though once its up and running, with little occasional tweaks and tests here and there.

Affiliate adult/cams comes to mind, especially if it has traffic.

Affiliate Marketing is always great for Adult Domains / Affiliate Programs, I made over $60,000 in 2007-2008 with an Adult Affiliate Network that was offering over $100 per initial order (even if the initial order was $10 for a 1 month subscription). However, I was getting 300 visitors a day and the competition since then has increased well over 5000% as the Internet and Affiliate Programs became way more popular. In this case, the domain is quite stellar but the extension is not and I prefer not going that route, as of yet.

With an Affiliate Program implemented with this Adult Domain Name (especially if co-branded), I will be able to make $xx,xxx in profits within the next 2 years guaranteed. However, it will require me to do a ton of Online Marketing to bring in those figures (as what was the case in 2007-2008) and I am not seeking a full-time job in an industry that is now so highly saturated.

In reply to Theo's Adult Cam suggestion ... I have never delt with Cam Site programs, the niche is quite interesting because although there is literally unlimited amount of free content available online (which is actually kind of sad, and should not be available to ANY children, although it is, clearly) I do know that people are very picky and wind up subscribing to a very specific type of site, that being said, I might give that a try.

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming!

Usually a generic (adult) term + cam inherently gets type-in traffic, but the best names are long gone. There is plenty of room for brandables that do require constant pushing/promoting to achieve results. I can't claim to be an expert, but monetized "chatroulette" type domains nicely a while back. Whether we like it or not, adult content drives the Internet.

Very interesting and from my knowledge, very true.

The keyword is actually "porn" (single word) in a sub-domain extension.

I'd like to do some research on the keyword + cams situation, I'm fairly new to parking / domain monetization.

I've been dealing with Affiliate Programs and actual Content Developing for 5 years now, but the time has come
to just let things "sit and work on their own"

Once again, I appreciate the replies... very helpful!
