Site Rejected for Google AdSense

I applied for an AdSense account for my domain that is developed and carries a wordpress blog on it. Here is part of the e-mail I received back from Google today:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google AdSense
at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

your site difficult to navigate. Potential navigation issues include:
redirects, pages behind a login or restricted access, broken links,
excessive pop-ups, dialers, and pages under construction or not yet
launched.

My blog is your typical wordpress layout - with a two button nav at the top but all of the posts are on the same page. There is nothing at all confusing or difficult about it (no redirects, pages behind a login, broken links, no pop ups, nothing they stated). I can re-submit for approval, but without changing anything they will just deny me again. I could not find any further information in their FAQ or TOS.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes, no matter which site I try, it's always rejected. Normally they don't give me a reason. I think they are very very selective about new websites that can display Google Ads.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the domain? There might be someone here that could take a look at it and see if there's anything that jumps out that Google might not like.

The domain is 30killionaire.com. Please keep in mind that this is a "just for fun" blog and was never intended to generate revenue or be anything serious, nor is it an accurate representation of my professional development as a domainer. I re-submitted the website to google and they sent me back an automated response the same as the first. I am not sure where to go from here, but the only way I can see this blog generating revenue is through AdSense. Otherwise it goes back to being parked...

I'm guessing they don't like that the domain is just framing your blog at wordpress.com. Either apply with the wordpress site or self-host WP on the domain.

That's not a question I've ever heard regarding a wordpress site

Why do I need a privacy policy? I was not aware I needed one as it is not an ecommerce website, I don't collect any personal information, etc.

I will try to apply with the wordpress (non-redirect) url and see if that works. Thanks for the tip.

Some time ago, google asked its publishers to post a privacy policy. Because you were publishing Google ads, google wanted to make sure that your viewers were aware of Google's policy regarding the information posted. So, google put it on you, the publisher.

There is an Easy Privacy Policy Plug-in. It's not bad and actually adds another page to your blog.

However, having that privacy page or not is NOT the issue of being rejected. As it states, the site is too difficult to navigate.

As for navigation problems, perhaps there is an issue of how your one and only primary page is comprised of topics individual to themselves but appear on one never ending page.

Look at the structure of your Wordpress theme. See if there is a way to add or activate the option of listing each individual topic as a link, or archives. This will appear in your menu bar. Then the viewer will have the option of going directly to the topic that may interest them vs. having to scroll through the entire page. This will perhaps enhance the navigation of the site and make it easier to navigate for the viewer.

I added a privacy policy (might as well), search bar and links to archived posts. Hopefully this helps. I changed the theme a few days ago too.

Yes, every time I got rejected they sent me an e-mail with 24 hours of my submission and this one only took about 12 hours. Not bad at all...now I am trying to figure out how to integrate the AdSense into the site, not as easy as I would have figured.

Apology due to maregee, I didn't know anything about the privacy policy, I'm going to add one to my site today.

The easiest way to get approved to adsense is create and submit a small blogspot blog. They can't reject that (tested, tried and works almost 100%)

Actually, the reason for the privacy policy is not the advertisers. It's because Google uses DoubleClick's DART cookie to do interest based advertising - serve ads based upon what sites someone has previously visited. They are required to inform people about this (and allow them to opt out), and they do so on their own sites, but being a publisher of their ads means the cookie is served/used while people are visiting YOUR site so now you (the publisher) also need to disclose it.

I've never heard of them rejecting anyone for not having a privacy policy ... but that could change at any time. Why risk it?

I have countless sites without a privacy policy.

I've started using it...why? It adds an additional page to get indexed and an additional page to place adsense.

That's absolutely correct.

However, having a privacy policy has been part of the Adsense publisher Terms and Conditions since 2008. I always mention it when I see sites without one because very few people read online agreements as carefully as they should and are unaware of it.
