What do you think of these? Just happened to think of it for Slashdot type of site. They're all available.

But that's just the point. I am asking for your appraisal. Usually the way it works is you give your oppinion why..."that's a helpful informative appraisal". If you're not sure how, I'll start you out...

It's too long.
It's too hard to remember.
Too hard to pronounce.
Looks confusing.
Not a dot com.
Doesn't sound good.
Not right for it's target audience.

...feel free to jump in if you think you have the hang of it now...

I love it. Not a thousand dollar name of course, but nice sounding and yes, it's an actual dictionary word. I'll register this one myself if you're going to pass on it. :)

RJ, feel free to take it. I thought of it because I am planning on developing a Slashdot type site soon. I'm pretty much set on doing it with the name GeekBoard.com which I registered a few days ago (and posted here for appraisal). I really do like Slashy.com (I think it's a very cool sounding and brandable name) for that kind of audience. Some people have to understand that just because a domain isn't taken doesn't mean it's necessarilly bad. Goodluck with Slashy if you take it, and try not to steal to many of my visitors to GeekBoard.com :D

Typeins... no friggin problem. Just one more thing though... I do think it's interesting that out of your hundreds of posts you have only "started" TWO threads.

Alright, thanks greggish. GeekBoard is a better fit for a techy site. I have different plans for slashy.
