I am fairly new and am confused with one specific aspect of expired/expiring domain registration.
I present four different scenarios below.
What are the various options to
a)Back order a domain which is on the expiring list(i.e. about to expire in a few days).
b)Back order a domain which is expired but NOT on hold
c)Backorder a domain which is expired but on HOLD.
d)Taken off hold
If I understand correctly we can use snap names for scenarios a,b & c and namecheap or anyone else for scenario d.
My question: What are the *OTHER* alternatives to snapnames?
Obviously if a domain is really good I would use snapnames, but what if there is a domain which isn't that juicy but I would like to backorder anyway without paying $70 or waiting for it to drop?
In other words are there any other alternatives to snap names which doesn't cost as much?
Thanks
