Yes, last night I was combing through some long domain lists and pasting names into the multiple search box. I waited too long and the timeout reset the page. I lost them all - had to start all over.

I believe they do this for a reason. I think when you search a name and it comes up available you have like a few minutes to snap it. It comes up taken in all other users screens. This allows you time so you don't have to rush entering your credit card information.

I know TicketMaster does this and it works really well....

I don't think so. Strictly a bandwidth saver.

I highly doubt they would loose out on a potential sale when you might not even snap the name at all.

But yes the timeout screens bug the heck out of me too.

I also have had it happen but only when searching multi names. Never if I am just searching one name. The only thing I can say is try and keep your lists small when searching multi names.

No way. I don't believe they'd be so stupid as to create a system that could allow savvy net scripters to essentially have free snaps on names ntil they are ready to commit to paying money.

Not that it really needed a confrimation, but I just searched one name that was not snapped and ran another search on a different machine on the same name and it showed up as snappable there too.
