Anyone every have any problems with Snapnames' system?
I had a bid in on a poker domain pending delete and assumed it would go to auction if I wasn't the only one bidding on it.
It was pending delete from Namescout and was listed in my Snapnames account with a bid on it one day and the next it was registered through DomainsAreForever.net and had been deleted from my account and moved into a private auction. I didn't receive any alert emails stating the domain was up for auction or any other correspondence from Snapnames. The name just vanished and I was excluded from taking part in the auction.
Their explanation didn't answer my question as to why I was excluded from the auction, just some mumbo jumbo about having auto cleanup turned on in my account or that maybe I had made a mistake.
I'm more than a little annoyed with the situation. I don't bid on names like this very often, but this was a name that I was after for more than 2 years, and I got screwed out of my chance to get it.
