Is it down for anyone else, or just me?

I hope it comes up very quick!

Looks great, and cool prices actnow, only thing is I gave my creditcard a workout buying an insanely expensive guitar.

So I'm trying to use my paypal money (ie: monopoly money) for as many things as possible. That's how snaps.com was so good!

Snaps.com was ramping up until the time that this fiasco started.
We were constantly adding new happy customers. All I can say is that this should be the last time anything like this could have such a disastrous effect on us. We will never rely on backups between servers at the same hosting company again. It sometimes takes a disaster to bring about necessary changes.

To all our existing customers, I'm sorry about all this. You came to depend on us to be there and we let you down. Please give us another chance to earn back your trust.

Some Questions For You...

1) What happens with the names we ordered through snaps.com?
2) How are we to exchange the snaps if we have remaining exchanges since we cannot access the website? Do we just simply forfeit this?
3) How are we going to access the site in the future?

Nothing has changed with this. Snapnames DB holds this information.

According to Serverbeach's rebuttal on WHT they're going to give us access to our data at some point. So hopefuly none of this will be an issue. If it doesn't happen, we'll probably have to create a solution with email verification to have you store your password for your account. The accounting history, debits/credits will be gone. All your existing snaps and snaps waiting for exchanges will show up in your account because Snapnames stores that on their DB.

3) How are we going to access the site in the future?

Status Update:

Good things come to those that wait, bitch, moan, beg and cry.

Received this email from Serverbeach. Two of my employees are heading to work to get all the sites back up.

Greg Ricks,

Your servers are currently online. You can access them with the
username 'root' and your root password allowing you to retrieve your data.

We will leave your servers online until Monday, July 7th at noon, CST,
at which time we will disable your servers.

SB Staff

3 days (72 + hours) and we finally have our data. This is a holiday so I don't think I can get my employees to do much more than retrieve the data. All the sites should be back up by tomorrow.

Now I can enjoy the fireworks tonight.

Grrrregr, glad your despute is over. :)
If you have pointed all your domains to ServerBeachSucks.com, that co. would go bust, thought.
