This is not as bad as McCain deciding to support offshore oil drilling after receiving tons of cash donations from the oil companies. Just what we need another oil company puppet like Bush

Are there any honest politicians??

What I really don't get is how they think they'll get away with crap like that.
As a politician, you're constantly in the spotlight, and someone's constantly trying to dig up dirt on you!!!
I hope this really reflects on and brings some heat to bare for that *****, Olympia...

cashads: No... You want to see what happens to honest politicians, look up an Australian pollie called Mark Latham.

Well, you get away enough times, you'll start thinking you can get away with ANYTHING!
And nothing can be wrong if YOU are doing it.

Pop quiz of the day! How many members of US Congress are multi-millionaires?

Why is an 84 (!) year old grandpa ruling over the fate of this country?

Spare me the "experience" bit. All politicians should retire like everyone else does.

Congress has no problem setting term limits for Presidents, But to set term limits for themselves would be unthinkable.

It's also the only institution that can vote themselves a pay raise. They dont care if your cost of living goes up, but when theirs does it's time to bring it to the floor for a vote.

As for Steven's, he's just another crook that got caught.... I hope his departure has an impact on the Snowe Bill, but I doubt it will.

I agree. I would love it if it did have an impact, but I don't think it will either.

"Ten movies streaming across that, that Internet, and what happens to your own personal Internet? I just the other day got... an Internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, I got it yesterday. Why? Because it got tangled up with all these things going on the Internet commercially." -Ted Stevens

The statement doesn't make any sense. Ted Stevens must be nuts and to think he was a cosponsor of this Snowe Bill. Unreal.
