Don't know but if they spam it should be assumed that they have challenged ethics and that's one red flag

Besides, there is little difference between a spammer and a scammer: one single letter

Here's one I recently received:
One of the things that concerns me is that this is stated to be part of LongTop Financial which is a company that builds and sells banking software.

I don't see any mention of Hooyoo in their Edgar Online reports. http://www.longtop.com/en/index.asp
Nor do I see any links from Hooyoo.com to Longtop.

By default, as NYSE listed companies must have a disclaimer on their site which states "Hooyoo Inc is a subsidiary of Longtop Financial (NYSE:LFT)". This statement does not appear on any of the affiliated sites mentioned.

I had some emails about a "wanted" post I recently made. Not only were the names WAY off from what I wanted, they wanted WAY too much for them. They read my post - I guess they read "I am looking for domains" and ignored the rest of the post.

I guess spammers love to read here, harvest emails (posted or whois) and then spam. They figure we're all big spenders but forget we're probably the most educated people in the industry.

Maybe they should track eBay domain sales.
