I want to install a software that will protect my mailbox from spam.
I know there is a software like spamarrest.com that replies automatically to every email asking to click on the link, enter the senders email in order for the message to be delivered.
Is't it problematic sinse there are many automatic services who send emails like ebay.com does when you get ourbid, or when you sign up to a service, you don't know what email they will be using?

Does anyone use this software, how's it ?

Anyone can recommend better alternatives ?

Let's talk spam protection.

I know what you are talking about. I send out weekly newsletters for a hell of a lot of movie theatres, and every week I see those spam-stopping programs rejecting my e-mail until I personally go in and type in their code. I am sure most services are not a nice as I am, since I try my best to catch all of those and make them work.

Their idea is a good one, but unfortunately it will block things you want to receive. There is still no great way to block spam.
