Spams offering to sell you odd and inferior versions of your domains

Domainers who send all those spams asking you to buy an odd version of your domain are low-life stupid idiots, not only based on the spamming but also their lack of intelligence. Every day I get several of them telling me a name is about to be released such as discount-hotels-reservation.info and since I own (example) discounthotelreservations.com I should order that name right away. What idiots. Not only is that name a little different but also has hyphens, in an inferior extension and is worthless. Hard to believe anyone would want it and falls for the scam but there must be some takers for them to be sending so many spams for so long.

Anyone else get these? Anyone know who sends them, maybe forum members are doing it I am guessing? Someone once posted places like Network Solutions may also do it but not sure if that's correct.

Very annoying. I was getting the same email multiple times over a period of a like a week.

It is amazing what people will do to actually make a buck. I can't say I'm surprised.
