I was trying to improve the speed of viewing domains via the portfolio manager, and the domain level from the portfolio manager. This causes the down time you may have seen this morning. Once the site was back up, I was still not happy with the improvements, so I made some changes to the site with everything still up and running. But this caused the backend stats to be about 5 hours behind. As of right this minute our stats are about 133 minutes behind and in about 14 minutes it should be about 100 minutes behind.
My test cases have shown that the portfolio manager for an account with 1,000 domains now loads in less than 1 second as before it loaded in 13 seconds.
looking at my account ,it seams stats are behind much more than 6 hours now - it is approx.a little less than half of what it should be.
correct me if i am wrong.
Our stats guy decided to put in a new version of our stats program tonight (I just found out), because we were behind already. All of the data is still being collected as normal, we are just attempting to process it in a much faster way.
numbers for yesterday are out and they are as bad as the day before ,when i was told it was low because of the holiday - didn't know yesterday was also a 'holiday'.
in addition the page loading times are 10 times as long and some pages like access to the portfolio does even load at all.
no need to add any more domains at this time as today it even looks worse !
