I found a great foreign languaged domain. It is the correct spelling (including non-26 "standard" letters but there is one problem, it is a .net and the language it is from heavily promotes their own ccTLD (plus the .com is taken).

So, the question is - should I? I don't even know if a .net would get any traffic from people who speak the language (since the ccTLD and .com are both taken).

don't bother. From my experience in the markets where ccTLDs prevail over .com, the .com version is worth a small fraction of the ccTLD version and it's not that easy to sell either. For a .net, I would not bother, unless it is a seriously very popular term and in that case it would have a reseller value in the $xx-$xxx range

If it's a cheap reg then buy it and try it. No harm if it's only one domain and a 'great' term. I've regged some french IDN's and get surprised by the traffic some of them get (or don't get - lol). But you really never know until you buy it and try it.

Good suggestion - it's only $7 so I grabbed it.

Now, I noticed that Parked doesn't allow IDN (Sedo does, though, but I'd rather have it parked with Parked). Will I be able to enter the punycode (I think that's what it's called?) to have it work (as-is) with Parked?

spending $7 on something that you obviously know nothing about (IDN's), without considering your parking/development options first, is how you lose money.

you should know or at least investigate which ppc companies fair best with IDN's, before going that path.

that being said, park it at namedrive
