Not much for me this week. I have some I want to hand-reg, but not pay TBR premium for.

As many as half a dozen, depending on what kind of a mood I'm in.

Will post once I've determined success/failure.

Well, I think Adam going on vacation has hurt many Registrars and if Adam had an extended vacation .. who knows, there will be some going out of business even.

What's the reason why the names not picked up in the TBR are not released back to public for reg fees right away? This should be instant.

Just seems to be the way it is. They stay as "pending delete" until the next day if not claimed in the TBR

As far as I remember, it stayed on "pending delete" mode for more than a day after TBR run. So I ditto what Jaydub said above.

Noone at CIRA is overenthusiastic about making it available to the public, since they would like to give the best shot to their Registrars to have the best crack at these domains when they drop off and don't care about the public who would like to re-register them.
