I missed Scientologists, but that's because I did up until "E" before I went out for work, and then drinks. I did the rest with just a little over four rapidly consumed beers in me, which could explain that. I hope that's all that I missed.

Pretty good week from what I could tell otherwise. If I wanted to be really aggressive, I'd have gone after close to two dozen. I only put orders on three, one of which is a "tooth and nail". Will reveal once the results are in.

Okay, it is time to reveal your picks!

BCmovers.ca - obvious reasons. I did not see huge money opportunity in this, since it's such a well populated keyword, and that many moving companies are mom-and-pop outfits with an @rogers.com email address and no website. Therefore, I could not envision selling it for more than high $xxx in the best of cases, and didn't want to run the risk, being a harder name to sell.

Abused.ca - acquired by Pool.com, at which I placed no backorders this week. It's definitely a good name, good potential to be sold to an anti-abuse foundation of some sort. I'd have fought a bit for it, though I stood back since I had a feeling there would be stiff competition. At pick #31, I guess I wasn't dead-on.

Chaz.ca - this was my "tooth and nail" name, which I would gladly have paid $xxx for, but snatched for just $22 at MyID. "Chaz on Charles" is a condo project in downtown Toronto. Many variations of the name have been taken in both .com and .ca. So I figured, what's easier to remember than chaz.ca? When the time is right, I plan on hiring some flyer distributors to hand out flyers soliciting those looking to buy or rent in the project. You can't have a much more legit-looking email than [email protected] ;)

I saw it but it suits a more local seller I think.

There is an excellent example of acting local - the domain is worth real money in such a situation.
