It's pretty sad that a week with four or five decent names is the best in months because better domains are offered up here and go unclaimed and with no interest yet some pay more via the tbr for the same type or worse.
The LLL domains are but one example - all were claimed again this week - some at $60+ but $35 ones on DNF don't get a sniff. TBR has a funny way of getting people to overspend.
I have noted that before, but at the same time I have seen people turn down $50 offers to let the domains go into TBR, and get dirty if you do not offer $200 for three random letters.ca!
This goes for other domains also: I remember offering close to $1k for a domain that was on the TBR this month.
In the meantime, concert.ca is up to $1300 with almost three hours to go.
I think there are other people bidding on LLL, they are not the members of the forum I think. So, they don't know about the offers here. Are these all LLL's at the drop previously owned by Adam?
I looked through the results list and there were half a dozen good ones. Concert and universal are nice generic words with good potential for commercial use. I've been missing TBR's in the last few weeks but don't feel I've missed much.
This week was the first one in a few weeks where you had more than just a couple of domains worth putting down decent money to get. I would have gone over $3k for concert but I could not get back into the bidding in time.
Any idea what universal went for?
I'm glad I didn't get in on the auction. Some media outfit in California likes to use the word "Universal", but they don't have the .com, so going for the end user sale on the .ca won't be an easy task, since they got by for so long without the .com.
I was in both concert and tia. I gave up on concert because it went too far, I would have paid for plural though. The other one is my daughter's first name, so I had to have it .
