Are technology domains worth registering in this extension?

Examples:

pdas.org
televisions.org
dvdplayers.org

I don't want to act on an impulse, as I have several other times.

Most .org's are pretty worthless, in terms of retail value. Some of them, however, can be developed into nice sites.

Such as technology.org, which I immediately would value at $1k+.

But you dont own that one, right?

I would pay $1,000(USD) for it.

And if I had it, I'd probably never sell. :D

Well, I was requesting appraisals for generic types of names. Haven't you seen LLN.ext or NNL.ext listed on here before?

L= Letter
N=Number

I guess it depends on how you look at things.

Any generic domain in com, net and org is going to be worth something to someone :)

How can anyone say that technology.org is only worth $1k?!?

I was thinking that a word with such power as technology would garner more than $1k myself. And btw, I also clicked on this thread b/c the subject line says point blank "Technology.org" which leads one to believe we're appraising the domain technology.org instead of just any tech subject in which case the subject line could have read "Technology dotorgs worth anything?"

I think any generic .org is worth something, if not at least a minimum of $500 for generic terms to well over $1k for something like "technology", and who knows what the actual price on that would be since the owner is not offering it for sale and would probably not even blink an eye at a $1k offer for it.

.org is difficult to appraise now because there is small market for it. No big guy will buy .org. Many of medium- to small-size business let .org expires and keep .com and .net. Some of them even registered .biz and .info, just in case. But 'No' for .org.

that's why it's worth $1K for domain speculator. It's hard to sell.

Ups . . .

Just realized that this thread is asking for appraise technology related domains with .org ext.

And not technology.org itself. LOL :D

As long as it's good one word domains, I think it's good domain.
pdas.org is nice one.
