Why won't you say the name? Why post on this board if you aren't going to include some details?

artstudio.com was snapped when I checked, so it's not it.
It's a cool domain indeed.

as a "tracking sys" for snaps etc.. but apparently someone from IBM has already reg'd this name..

Sorry.

Snapnames caught a domain for me that was not snapbacked 24hours before it dropped. Within two weeks I got a three-figure offer for the name from an end user... I guess miracles do still happen lol

My best hand regged domain sold for $900 a few months later.
It was not from the early days either, it was sometime in 02.
Needless to say, it never happened again :)

I've sold two manually registered names (2002) for good money. One for $1k and another I got off the "available names" thread for $800. :-D

It has been rare for them to land 3-letter .nets/coms lately. I have several coming up with them though, so I hope it is the start of a trend. These things do seem to go in cycles - just when someone writes off a drop catcher, they make some adjustments and stage a comeback. Would love to see Snap do it now. I have a boatload of those limited exchange Snaps that are down to their last exchange and about to become worthless.
