Hey everyone,

Okay well I don't have a credit card, so adding funds to paypal is impossible for me as they dont allow New Zealand bank cards or anything, it must be a credit card :(

The only way I get money to my paypal is by selling things etc, well I managed to do some work for $15, bought my new domain name < mod edit> and started building the site.

Now I am left with $4.82

I want to advertise my site, or do something that will benifit it, but I can only afford $4.82 Hell thats enough for someone to get some lunch

So what should I do guys? :D

Visitor Boost allows you to get a trail campaign for $2... about 1000 visitors. But you can't really do much with $5...

Why not include it in your signature and then just reference it from there?

What a depressing thread... you'd think the economy collapsed or something.

Why not do more work for people and build up your account? Or sell more things?

Or buy a prepaid Visa card (do they have those there?) and use that to add money.

16. Promoting other domain name or webmaster related forums (or any forum that resembles the structure and/or content of DNForum) in your posts, signatures, or in any way on the forum is not permitted, unless it is a legitimate sale, and then you may ONLY post the sale in the proper forum and not in your signature or anywhere else on the forum. THIS INCLUDES ANY FORUMS THAT HAVE ANY OF THE SAME CATEGORIES WE HAVE.

Fair enough, I mean my "huge" webmaster forum that needs advertising because it only has 13 members so far is fully going to take over DNForum and steal all its members etc... yep... turns out I dont think that my site is going to be much competition for you any time soon so who really cares?? I am trying to get some help here! I also dont think I have any of the same categorys as you, and my site is made for FORUM ADMINS not domainers...

I created this thread to ask for help and 99.9% of what I have gotten is flamed. Im sure someone out there is able to give me some banner ads or something for $4

If you dont like my idea, GTFO. I am asking for help, if you can offer it, please do, if you wanna flame me... GTFO HAVE A NICE DAY :)

Are you directing your GTFO towards me?

whether you got 1 member or 10000, doesn't matter.

No, I was saying that to the flamers on the "omg u need to spend thousands to get anywhere" bandwagon.

Fair enough, rules are rules, but hell, bit tight huh? I've been here since 2003, you'd think I'd just get a friendly PM asking me to remove it not this huge message in my sig I had to cleanup, not to mention my other NON webmaster related site deleted out of my sig.

you'd also think one who has been here all these years would have read the rules by now and wouldn't even think of trying to "skirt" around them.

or at least send a friendly pm to someone on the staff first, to get prior permission.

that's the "other" side of the coin...

We could argue all day, whats the point?

How about you just delete this whole thread, I'm kinda over it, no help, just flamewars. Oh well.
