For the time being, the create only 1 thread/day limit is being relaxed. Don't go overboard though. Stay within reason.

The limit was only on the Advertising section before so it's now any thread.

I actually thought the one thread rule was actually very good and beneficial for the forum.

more than one thread is bad and good
Bad becasue someone could post 50 crap names as 50 threads to sapm us - i.e. ebay
but i know when i sell i like to sell a few at a time and then go on a selling dryspell...so good in that case

The way I see it common courtesy stops people from doing that and since only platinum’s can post in this forum its fine.

I mean someone COULD post 50 crap names and ruin the forum sales for everyone else.. but they would be doing it at the expense of their reputation.

but your right I also like to sell all in one go

then dry spell then I get ambitious again :)

key is moderation

but I'll happily post 1$ auction threads .

the ones people don't want will very soon fall off and only the decent ones would stick around.

so to sum it all up

Platinum members = Highest class of this community

this community is built on reputation.

abusing the forum in that way = bad reputation

offending person = shunned from the community

shunned from the community = less and less sales

less and less sales = less $ for that person

less $ for that person = no platinum renewal

no platinum renewal = the person is no longer an elite and of a higher class

the person is no longer an elite and of a higher class =
lower self esteem

lower self esteem = possible depression

possible depression = need pills to control depression

need pills to control depression = $$$

$$$ doesn't exits for lower class person

So person is screwed

- that’s just one of many possible scenarios ...

but it holds true - this forum is self policed. And built on respect and reputation :)

so with that in mind the relaxation of the thread submissions is a good thing :)

- just my .02
