The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Many expected a major slowdown this past week due to the three-day Labor Day weekend that is one of America's biggest holidays. That end of summer celebration typically causes business to slow to a crawl but the domain aftermarket managed to turn in a decent showing despite the long break. A six-figure sale at SnapNames led the hit parade and headlined a new all-extension Top 20 chart that saw a pair of country code domains among the top ten. All of the other positions were swept by .com except one that was claimed by a one-word .net. You can get all of the details here:

great reporting as always Ron. thanks

disappointing week but guess short week didnt help

once again Rick doing what only he can do, sell a domain for 10 times more than it should sell for. in no. 2 spot
this is what he's good at. love to be a fly on the wall when he's negotiating and like to know how they contacted him.

Now that I look at it, yeah, that is overpriced.

I would have laughed if he had an affiliate link to DNF in the article, but he doesn't. ;)

I wonder if we'll have a (well, any, even small) boost in membership from this?

Interestingly enough the singular version RoomDivider.com is still owned by Rick.
Maybe their competitor will pay more. Very impressive indeed. As for the people that think this one is over rated...A search for "room dividers" in google Results 1 - 10 of about 2,220,000 and the new owner is the top advertiser
