Seems as though with the current interest in the .info tld.,some people think
their 3 letter .info domains are worth as much as 3 letter .net and even low level 3 letter .com's.

When did this "speculation" begin.........and when will it end?

Do you think....... bin.info is worth more than bin.net or even bin.org?

I'm seeing 3 letter .info domains priced higher than 3 letter .org!

what's your opinion on this?

They seem to be more popular & demand more $$$ than 3-letter .org's.

That's easy - it began (or at least kicked into high gear) when Elequa bought up every unregistered 3-letter .info left. They are only available on the aftermarket now, just like com, net, org. Supply has been removed from the supply and demand equation, pushing the price side of the scale up.

There still is no logical reason for prices to be higher, than other tlds, which had all been taken long before .info!

or is it just the hype of...... "now their all gone.....so they must have value"?

1)people in europe (germany ect.) like the .info ext.
they never liked .org and .de ext does not allow certain 3 letter name (license-plates app)

also a 3 letter .info with meaning (same as .com) will always demand highest prices.
sex, who, why just to name a 'few'

yes, I agree with wolfis. Depending on the domain name of course, in many cases info might be better than org. Your target audience is larger, and I think it has a better 'ring' to it. In some countries, ORG sounds phonetically like orj as in George...

In most cases however, they are more valuable than NET (IMHO)

if your premise is true......then why were so many 3 letter .info's available to register, prior to the last quarter!

i saw the increase in registrations, after "drophunters" like "pool" included .info, as a backorder selection!

It would be interesting to know......how many 3 letter .info domains are used as actual websites, compared to the same letters in .net and .org!

Thanks for the continued feedback!
