I had never heard of them until this morning in the morning news. They were based in Lexington, NC. Absolutely phenomenal what people will fall for. Problem is, the people behind this might not get caught and will just simply open up under a different name and in a different location.

So is this site similar to QuiBids? I'm sort of sick of seeing those stupid commercials...

To get an idea what they were all about, I went to you tube and put in zeekler. It appears that people (numerous) were doing their own commercials or testimonials to sign more people up.

Think I remember someone here recently saying they were doing well with this program

yeah, a member posted a thread in gold cafe recently

claiming he checked it out from a to z,

(but that he was not promoting it, yet at same time he asked members to pm for more info)

said he invested only $1k and after 7 days makes $17 a day....that was the kiz=zatch line.

sent him a pm and the thread was deleted

Yup, I remember the thread. Just a week or so ago. I had no idea he was promoting the site. Apparently (according to local news) the owner was not doing too well as Zeekler.com. When he changed to ZeekRewards.com that is when things started picking up. It was quite a scheme, like a modern day version of Amway. The only way you could make money was to bring more people into the fold.

I do not know if the creator, Paul Burks, was from this area or not (they were headquartered about 15-20 minutes away in Lexington). But I red a piece about his "parent company", Rex Venture Group of shady practices going many years back (article first published in 2006). This person was trying to warn everyone about Burks and ZeekRewards and Zeek Cash back in 2011.

I see this piece here of some guy sticking up for Zeek Rewards...and the first thing I noticed was the shirt he was wearing. It's a Maltese Cross and looks too much like the damn Aryan Nation Brotherhood symbol known as the CSA- The Covenant, The Sword, and The Arm of the Lord. They are a paramilitary skin head extreme racists and are trouble from the word go. They are known for their rallies, initiation, and have made national news too many times for high profile murders and stuff like that. Sure, it may be just coincidence the he's wearing a shirt that "looks like" their symbol. But I was wondering what in the hell would anyone at all open up a business in a shit hole like Lexington. That area and county are some of the most outspoken and notable racist and KKK members in the southern united states. Siler City (south of Lexington) was home to one of the largest KKK organizations and Grand Wizards in the south, Joe Grady. The county is perhaps one of (if not the only) that refuses to recognize Martin Luther King, Jr. holidays. Joe Grady was not only KKK but he was also one of the largest figures in the Nazi nation and had been for years. That group was so anti everything...if you were not white born and raised in this country then they had no use for you. Joe Grady also had a recorded message of the day, every day, that anyone could listen to simply by calling his number. All were outright hate and incitements of wrong doing and evil...some to the point of being funny. And it was a good black friend of mine who went on to be a fine doctor who first told me about Joe and his daily gospel

The funniest thing I remember about Joe Grady was a friend of mine had left one of the hospitals I worked at to start his own home-care business...which can be very lucrative. Well, Joe Grady was one of Ken's patients. Each and every time Ken went there in Siler City, the place looked like a para military camp. Joe had quite a large spread and heavily armed men all along the long, long gravel road leading up to his cabin(s). It was there that every one was wearing some sort of military uniforms, all black with red markings and the swastika. Joe was getting old in his life and was real bad time of breathing from smoking too damn much all his like. Ken paid weekly visits to his compound to deliver oxygen to Joe. It was after such a visit when Ken was describing all the intense searching of vehicles and armed escorts that Ken leaned over to me and said, " I wonder what they would do to me if I told them I was gay?" We laughed our asses off. Yeah, I knew Ken was gay. But Joe and his posse sure as hell didn't.

Anyways, Joe is dead now, Ken is still gay, and I wonder what in the hell Paul Burks and his organization are running the multi-million dollar scheme out of Lexington, NC. And I wonder if there may not have been some hands off and protection afforded him by the still existent KKK and Nazi's in that area.

All of this came to mind when I saw that one person sticking up for Burks and wearing a shirt that looked too damn much like the Aryan nation symbol to me. I immediately had flashbacks to the time I encountered two members of the CSA who stopped me at a gas station while I was getting ready to leave. I was still in college and they were handing out literature like any religious group would do. But these guys were freaky freaky. One stood right in front of me preventing me from getting into my car while the other one started walking around to all those gas pumps placing CSA stickers on all the gas pumps, soda machines, on the door to the store and anywhere else he could place them. These were pretty brazen in their hatred towards anyone not of the white citizen heterosexual that they believed in. Both were dressed in impeccably clean and creased fatigues, pant legs were bloused (stuffed in their boots), and they were wearing those cool looking gray Panzer caps (gray cap worn by the german panzer division in WWII) with the nazi eagle on the cap. But, the thing that was most memorable was it was over 90 degrees out and these two guys were wearing their heavy field fatigue jackets with the red swastika band around the arm. I just knew these guys were trouble and I also knew I did not want to mess with them or piss them off because I was confident they had weapons under those jackets. I said something like, "Damn, that clerk didn't give me my change" and pointed at the store and started to walk back in. I remember the look of fear on that clerk's face. I acted like I was also buying a soda and chips. I mentioned to him all the hate stickers they were putting on all the pumps and vending machines. He said he wasn't going to peel them off or clean up because he said it would just be his luck to take them down only to have them come back and shoot him. I told him I didn't blame him.

I remember telling Ken about this and his response was, "Now you know what Joe's compound looked like."

Anyways, that's my Saturday afternoon flashback.

But mostly it's wondering why in the hell were their headquarters in Lexington, of all places.
