I wasn't sure where else to post this, so I figured the platinum lounge would be a good place to start.

In short, with so many different parking aggregators and revenue sponsors, I want to know your favorite, and which one has earned you the most revnue. Of course, creating your own aggregators and not paying middleman fees is the best option, but it also requires a bit of technical work.

Out of namedrive, goldkey, sedo, domainsponsor (I could do this all day) which one brought you the most ka-ching at the end of the day, with the same keywords?

I use Domainsponsor as default, primary parking place. Those few domains, which does not optimize there after 1-2 month, I move to Sedo, where I play with keywords.

I disagree. Is same like to tell "to build own car is better than buy one". Creating own aggregator is so complex task, one can not think "lets just do Google parking". You need more advertisement sources, biult long-term relationships with them, optimizing software...

I would not do this even if I have 1M uniques/day, because I still would earn same or more with Domainsponsor without any work and hiring people and such stuff.

My highest earner is at Sedo, and I have tried the same name at DomainSponsor, Fabulous, and GoldKey.

I use all 4 namedrive, goldkey, sedo, domainsponsor. Some domains work better in each of them.

If you're speaking about good/generic domains with natural traffic:

There is no doubt you must test all of the programs you know of to do yourself the most justice. And, to do a proper test you need to let the name sit for 1 month at each service. Yes, it can be a pain to test, but it can pay off just by matching a few of your best domains with the best respective parking solution.

Otherwise you may be leaving money on the table. I think most would agree that there is no one-best solution for all domains.

Although I do agree it's easiest just to pick one parking service for all your domains, easy doesn't always = more profitable.

The age old question is "where should I park my domain?" As most of us know, the answer is "it depends." Factors include accurate optimization, tld/cc, traffic (and quality of traffic), ad feed, etc. . . and intangibles such as presentation of links, header...etc.

Don't be afraid to experiment...even if you're happy with the revenue from one service...try another service for a month. It's true that some PPC providers perform better with particular keywords. Although such information is scant, its out there...and it will be growing. Sharing information is a good thing.

Good luck

PPC Domain Parking companies should definitely experiment more with different models and templates. The look of some TrafficZ sites are beautiful!

DN parking site "look and feel" is an issue that needs to be researched more. I am sure that templates could be developed that are the perfect balance between cost, look and income.

It would be cool to try self optimizing layouts based on statistical data of visitor clicks. Or have the server study how long the person stayed on the website and make adjustments.

Mixed PPC and PPS parked pages would be interesting but needs competence on both sides (Parking Site and DN Owner). But that would be really interesting, PPC for short term clicks and PPS for those that are close to getting what they visited the site for in the first place.

Parking Domain Companies should work their competitive advantages as well.

- Securing best PPC and PPS agreements. Stuff that the average LS, CJ, etc. user would have a tough time securing. This makes them prized and they can use this to get better DN owners.

- Template uniqueness and server template intelligence. This is the secret sauce and TrafficZ seems to be clueing in on it.

Balancing the templates with dynamic, good looking options is important if we are to evolve out of the visitor doldrums of "Oh, just another parked website". Only to have the visitor click the "Home" button rather than a PPC link that interests them. It must be admitted that a standard PPC parked DN is a minor annoyance to the visitor but a professionally parked DN can transcend its inherent nature and actually be a useful thing (service, feature, pleasure, etc.) for the visitor. One that brings people back willingly like a Google or a Yahoo or a familiar bookmark that they tell their neighbors about.

Comments? (Or did I just unnecessarily preach to the quire. Doh!)

i use trafficZ again it's been debated a million times so do a search on the topic...

My results with TrafficZ were fairly mediocre. A few names they did better than Hitfarm and Fabulous, but not most. Good place for the garbage traffic that I'd been sending to DS though.
