I wouldn't. Knowing what I know now, I'd have played the lottery.

I remember wanting to register domain names and not having a ****ing credit card and nobody listening to me..then got sidetracked into other BS as a young teen..I spent more time on AOL chat boards than thinking about registering all those million dollar gems sitting there waiting to get picked up. Funny thing is, they (and some of us) will be saying that about the timeframe of RIGHT NOW and all the opportunity missed.

Who wrote it?

good question, would have to dig it out. It was manly focused on email marketing, pretty cool for 95 (was probably written in 93 or 94). I bought it in a bookstore only having heard about the inet, seemed like it was possible but like Chris I was too busy with other stuff (for me it was chasing college girls and studying). Strange when I think about that time because I had a few friends who used email in 93 but they never seemed to think of anything else but using email with friends...the lousy geeks...

guess I should add some names to the list:

Animation.com
Antiques.com
Architecture.com
Design.com
Entertainment.com
History.com
Magazines.com
Movies.com
Music.com
News.com
Photograhy.com
Shopping.com
Video.com
Apartments.com

Finance.com
Pets.com
Accounting.com
Law.com
Travel.com
Classifieds.com

I cybersquatted f24z.org which my school was about to use to host their site.
They set the domain as homepage on every work station in the school.
I put some negative contents against my school, and ended up getting a call from the dean... They found it from the whois.
Fortunately, I was too little to put porn up there lol.
