Whaddya all think?

ThePotBus.com

Thanks for thoughts!

$24-36 on a lucky day. Likely to be dropped.

You're right (to the OP) that WA and CO would have more uses for names like this one, and CA is next, so the market will get much bigger. But I agree w/Varlin, right now mid $XX is probably a good est and you should go by that if you're thinking that renewing it will be being worth it. Unless you can make $ in monetization. And as a name PotBus.com would be better as you know, although yours is cool for some dispensary or store in those states, developing a website I'm not sure...

Also, remember that people are betting big on this wave expanding and more states following, so the easy money at resale and the best possible names are probably kinda gone by now....ie a lot of decent/good mj/pot domains are for sale and the best ones were already regged. But if you have $ to keep it, waiting longer for things to heat up in this area, then cool (also try parking it instead of a sale page, it may pay the ren fee lol...)

David - Please forgive my ignorance, but could you please translate your comment into English? i.e What is OZ and QP?

Know your target audience - Dub is $20 and can sometimes vary in weight (~1.8 grams), OZ - ounce, QP - quarter pound and then you can get corresponding prices with the market prices in various regions. ;)

He probably meant just a dub is legal right now (a small amt under one ounce, probably measured in grams or enough to just roll a joint as I understand) 1 oz = 28 grams approx

But later i'll be from one ounce (1 OZ) to a quarter of a pound (QP) and 1 lb (a pound) = 16 oz

It looks like David, I and others may have experimented with pot more than you, OP.... LMFAO (David can correct me if I'm wrong....)

@angel69: When I was in high school, I experimented with marijuana a time or two and I didn't like it and didn't inhale and never tried it again.

I was simply putting a valuation on a domain name in terms of which domainers should relate to if they intend on selling to a target audience. For example, if your niche of domains are gardening tools and you don't know how to use a hose, maybe you should select a different niche. I'm not saying that sales are 100% product knowledge, but being able to talk on a level in which a stoner would understand (dub, ounce, QP, etc.) to make a sale would surely help and not creep them out as if you were trying to bust them or something. :tinfoil3:

Get on the audiences level: "C'mon man, it'll help you GROW your business and will only cost you a dub now... in the future, who knows? Maybe you're looking at shelling out a QP's worth of profit for this one." (If looking for a quick flip now)

Thanks for the explanation and practical advice. I guess I'll focus on boring niches :)

Now after a closer look I think this domain could be a typo of POTUS. You know, they didn't inhale, ever
