I hate to rain on the parade - especially since I like the name. In fact I liked it so much I just registered a more popular term in America - TheTop40.com for under $8. In Overture, "Top 40" had 36,000 searches last month. "Top Ten" had 15,000. In Google, there were almost 6 million hits for "Top 40", a little over 4 million for "Top Ten".
Because of the popularity of the Top 40 radio format for decades that number is the most searched term for any numbered "Top" list.
Also TheTopTen is available in 4 other extensions. There are a lot of similar names still available for a reg fee so I can't see anyone giving you 1K for that one. If they do - let me know because I would be happy to sell for 10 C-Notes too!
Both of us probably could get that much if we didn't have "The" in the title, but people loves lists, and for a cheap reg fee these are good names to provide them!
After I thought about it for awhile, I decided I liked it so much I went back and registered TheTopForty.com as well. People don't normally spell out numbers but this way I will have it covered both ways - and all for less that the cost of a new CD! Domain names don't get scratched up either!
