For those of you that have incorporated in Canada, did you find the process tedious and lengthy? Did you use a lawyer or did you do it on your own?

I've read posts regarding the danger involved in changing the whois information. Did you experience any problems when you listed your corporation in the whois information? Have you ever lost a domain because of some sort of confusion betweent the old owner (you) and the new owner (your corporation)?

Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've used CorporationCentre.ca they were very helpful and the process took 3 days. There was a business already registered that could have conflicted with our name and they contacted the business to get approval for us to inc under the name.

The cost was pretty reasonable I think just under 1k, I haven't moved any names into the corporation name but there shouldn't be any issues with the business owning the assets.

Cheers,

Jay
