Ultimately, the power caused by knowledge will most likely be our downfall. For example, nuclear weapons have not destroyed us yet, but very well could. Same goes for other weapons of mass destruction. Global warming has not destroyed us yet, but could.

Read Carl Sagan when you get a chance - he does a good job of posing these types of questions and speculating on their answers.

Sorry if I have taken this too seriously :)

A: knowledge is power
B: power corrupts
C: mankind survives

Mankind can survive if:

A is not always true
B is not always true
or
B does not always negate C

What is corruption? If corruption is acting on self-interest to the demise of others, then it may well lead to survival. If corruption is based on moral absolutes, then where do those moral absolutes come from? If the moral absolutes come from a powerful being, then premise B is in jeopardy. If the moral absolutes come from a powerless being, then premise A is in jeopardy. If there are no moral absolutes then corruption is just self interest and premise C is in jeopardy.

My thought of the day:

First we state that girls require time and money.
> Girls = Time x Money

And as we all know "time is money"
> Time = Money

Therefore:
> Girls = Money x Money = (Money)^2

And because "money is the root of all evil"
> Money = root(evil)

Therefore:
> Girls = (root(evil))^2

And we are forced to conclude that:
> Girls = Evil

Avoid knowledge all all costs. Encourage couch potatoes and petition your city council to close the local library. Limit web browsers ability to visit any websites beyond joecartoon.com and other flash heavy humor sites.
