Thread has expired??

Is there a thread that shows the new rules of posting?

I see that if you try to reply to a somewhat old thread it says this thread has expired.

You can not edit certain posts in particular forums.

Expiring threads is probably a good idea, but what's the age threshold for determining what's expired and "old"?

The edit limitation in some forums is likely just an oversight, but that's just an educated guess based on my experience with VBulletin.
