Thread Postings?

If i try to make a post before 24hrs it automergers the post.

Is there anyway to avoid this ..or is this how it operates?

When i create a thread and post, when no one posts. I have to wait 24 hours to make a post? If i try to make a post before hand it automergers the post.

Yeah that is how it works. It is here to prevent floods, bumps etc.
