Who here has heard of that? A thunder snowstorm? And I live on a cul-de-sac which is always last to get plowed. Not good.

NOAA Forecast:

Tonight: Periods of snow with areas of blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 31. Blustery, with a northeast wind 14 to 17 mph increasing to between 22 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Wednesday: Periods of snow with areas of blowing snow, mainly before noon. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 32. Breezy, with a north wind between 18 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Battening down the hatches,
Stuart.

Thunder snowstorms are awesome, I miss them (but not shovelling).

It's mid 80s here in south Florida, though.

65 and sunny here in San Diego. I've seen 10 whales pass by so far today (heading from Alaska to Mexico), and 2 pods of dolphins. Going out in my tshirt and shirts in a few minutes to ride my bike to La Jolla.

Why do people choose to live in bad weather states... I'll never figure that out.

The only thing I miss about snow is getting a snow day off from work due to too much snow. Here in Florida, we don't get days off due to excessive sun.

Been in one in my life. Cool as all get out! Each flash seemed to be a different color. World would be all red, green, yellow, and variations in between. Neat. Stayed outside for the whole storm without realizing how cold we were getting.
